The purpose of this project is to achieve a visual control system of a paper cutting process. The control system controls the longitudinal positioning conducted in a production line of pre-printed corrugated paper. The purpose of this control is twofold. On the one hand it seeks to improve the quality of the product obtaining a cut located inside the zone tolerances specified in the design of the paper. It also seeks a reduction of waste in the production process by reducing defective paper plates by the excessive error in the positioning of the paper.

In the picture on the left it can be seen a detail on the modification of the production line for the installation of a vision system consisting of a camera and a lighting system at the bottom.
